Dogs’ sizes and shapes differ. Therefore, it’s important to make sure you get the right leads and collars for your dog. At Woofwerks, we understand that the questions of size, fit and comfort can sometimes be confusing to answer, particularly when faced with a wide selection of styles and colors. For this reason we have added a sizing guide to help you pick the right product from our selection of dog accessories.
Dog Collar Size Guide
Dog collars are often measured by the neck circumference where the collar will sit. Ideally, you should use a flexible measuring tape, rope or simply a piece of string. As a helpful rule of thumb, we strongly recommend that you select collars that are not too tight, as to not cause discomfort to your dog. It is also important that the collar is not too loose, as it may slip over their head. Ideally, allow two fingers between your dog’s neck and the measuring tape for an accurate sizing.
PLEASE NOTE: Our collars are sized in a range from the smallest to the largest adjustment. There is about 1 inch between holes in the 1 inch collar and 7/8 of an inch in a 3/4 inch collar.

To choose the best leads, you need to consider the material, what you are using it for, and certainly the ideal length and width.
